Four Roses is a bourbon whiskey brand produced in Kentucky, USA, with a history dating back to 1888. In that year, Paul Jones Jr. officially registered the brand name. The main production facility is located in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
A distinctive feature of Four Roses is the creation of 10 different bourbon recipes based on two different grain mash bills and five proprietary yeast strains. This approach creates a variety of taste profiles characterised by fruity, floral and spicy notes. The whiskeys are matured in new American oak barrels with charred interiors, which contributes vanilla, caramel and oak notes.
The brand’s range includes Four Roses Bourbon, Small Batch, Single Barrel and Small Batch Select. Each product is made using selected barrels and recipes, offering its own distinctive taste and aroma.
