Badagoni is a renowned Georgian wine brand founded by Giorgi Salakaia in 2006 in Georgia’s Kakheti region. The brand combines Georgia’s 8,000-year-old winemaking traditions with modern technologies and scientific expertise, producing wines exclusively from local Georgian grape varieties.
Badagoni’s portfolio includes red, white and sparkling wines, as well as traditional qvevri wines and chacha. The brand’s qvevri wines are produced in the historic 11th-century wine cellar of Alaverdi Monastery using traditional Georgian methods. Badagoni’s main winery is located in the village of Zemo Khodasheni, in the Akhmeta subregion of Kakheti.
