The Macallan is a premium single malt whisky brand founded in 1824 and produced in the Speyside region of Scotland. The brand’s history is associated with the Easter Elchies estate, located near the River Spey.

The Macallan places particular emphasis on carefully selected oak casks, traditional distillation craftsmanship and the maturation process. The whisky’s natural colour develops from the wood of the cask during maturation. Casks seasoned with sherry play a key role in shaping the rich taste and aroma of the products.

The brand’s main collections include Double Cask and Sherry Oak. The Double Cask range brings together whiskies matured in American and European oak casks seasoned with sherry, offering notes of vanilla, fruit and soft spices. In the Sherry Oak collection, European oak casks seasoned with sherry play the central role, while notes of dried fruit and sweet spices complement the rich character of the range.
