28 years have passed since the Khojaly genocide committed as a result of Armenian vandalism, which has never been erased from the memory of our people. Every year, hundreds of people visit the Mother's Cry monument to commemorate the victims of this tragedy that terrifies the humanity. It commemorates the innocent people who lost their lives in this horrific genocide. The leadership and staff of Aurora Group visited the Mother's Cry monument erected in memory of the victims of the Khojaly tragedy and laid flowers in front of the monument.

It should be noted that on the night of February 25-26, 1992, Armenian armed forces with the help of armoured vehicles and military personnel of the 366th Motor Rifle Regiment in Khankendi attacked the city of Khojaly. Prior to the attack, the city was fired upon with heavy artillery and heavy armoured vehicles in the evening of February 25. In this situation, about 2,500 people under blockade by the Armenians were forced to leave the city, hoping to reach the centre of the nearby Aghdam region, but they failed. Armenian armed groups and soldiers of the motor rifle regiment destroyed the city and attacked the civilian population. As a result of the massacres, 613 people were killed, 487 were injured and 1,275 were taken prisoner.
